Neo Global Development opened a one-month registration window, June 8 to July 8, for users still holding unmigrated Neo Legacy $NEO and $GAS to submit their details and verify ownership. Verified holders will then be guided through an off-chain conversion that reissues an equivalent amount of $NEO and $GAS on the Neo X chain. Eligible assets are limited to $NEO and $GAS. The program does not list any NEP-5, NEP-17, or other Legacy token types as eligible.
Neo co-founder Erik Zhang met with Zhu Gongshan, the founder, chairman of the board of directors, executive director, and chief executive officer of GCL Group Holdings Limited, a major global green low-carbon technology enterprise. Zhang’s post alluded to introducing energy, technology, and trusted infrastructure into real-world industrial scenarios.

Neo Red Pill launched the World Cup 2026 Prediction Challenge on its official Discord server. Participants can predict match results, earn points throughout the tournament, and compete with others to place on the leaderboard. The event is free to join, open for all, and predictions will remain hidden until kickoff. There’s a US $200 prize pool, with $100 allocated for 1st place, $45 for 2nd place, $20 for 3rd, and $5 each for 4th through 10th places.
Frank Coin released a World of Elements updates, which noted daily events, chat improvements, new anti-cheat measures, and functioning Neo X payments. Frank Coin also hosted a Neo trivia contest on Telegram, where the top players earned 100 FRANK tokens, and ten random players won 40 FRANK tokens.
NeoIgnite launched a contest to drive usage of the AgentPay dApp on TestNet, awarding a 20 $GAS prize pool split among the three agents that receive the most payments over a one-week period. Participants register an agent and solicit TestNet $GAS payments, with all activity recorded on-chain via UsageLedger for public verification.
Raijin Protocol shared why the team is building its Web3 game on Neo X, opting to use $GAS as its in-game currency rather than launching a separate game token to reduce exposure to speculative manipulation. The team cited Neo’s dual-token model, low fees, and existing infrastructure as the basis for a game economy meant to outlast a short-term hype cycle.
nDapp released a weekly N3 $GAS check-in, noting that network users claimed approximately 55,492 $GAS over the past week and that on-chain activity burned about 585 $GAS.
NNT hosted a GasBot Trivia round where participants had a chance to compete for a pool of 4 $GAS rewards.

NeoLine released chrome extension wallet v5.9.1, which added secret recovery phrase import support for Neo N3 and Neo X, and added Korean language support.
