The CATS project, is a meme coin built on The Open Network (TON) blockchain, designed to captivate the growing Telegram user base, has made some important announcement regarding the distribution of native token, $CATs, and upcoming airdrop rewards which has sparked a sense of excitement within the community.
Tokenomics
With a total supply of 600 billion $CATS, the meme coin projects is set to reward its active community members and incentivize growth. The token distribution is allocated as follows:
- 55% for Airdrops (divided between Season 1 and Season 2)
- 12% for Exchanges
- 10% for Early Growth Supporters
- 10% for Ecosystem Funds
- 6% for the Team
- 4% for Strategic Investments
- 2% for Media Partners
- 1% for Advisory
Airdrop Season 1 & 2
Further they also announced that for the first season of the airdrop, 30% of the total supply will be distributed which will amount to 180 billion $CATS tokens. The airdrop is designed in such a way that to receive the airdrop, the user has to fulfill the following criteria:
- Own an OG pass
- Conduct daily transactions
- Complete in-app activities such as tasks, friend invitations, and AI farming.
The further distribution for the Season 1 airdrop is as follows:
- 70% will go to the users that meet the above set criteria. Larger the transactions, larger the airdrop will be. There will also be a bonus multiplier for users with a higher CATS Points Balance.
- 30% will be distributed to the active users who have contributed significantly to the community. The final snapshot for Season 1 will take place on Sep 30, 2024 at 21:00 UTC, after which rewards will be calculated and distributed.
For Season 2, the launch is expected immediately after the snapshot. It will focus on AI photo farming and will allow users to craft their own unique CAT PFPs (Profit Pictures). This phase promises further engagement and rewards for users that actively participate.
In order to reward genuine community members, CATS emphasizes that the larger rewards will be reserved for those who will invest time and effort into growing the project, rather than those looking for quick gains.
