Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is set to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day on a grand scale by distributing over 5,000 pizzas across the globe. This six-day event aims to engage both crypto enthusiasts and the general public, reinforcing Binance’s mission to educate and involve a broader audience in the world of cryptocurrency.
Starting on May 17 and running through May 22, Binance will host a series of events and activities in various iconic locations including Thailand, Paris, Dubai, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. These activities will feature in-person pizza parties, Binance-branded pizza vans, and special deliveries by notable figures in the crypto community using Binance delivery scooters. These efforts are designed to create memorable interactions, allowing people to celebrate the historic first purchase made with Bitcoin.
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted the importance of recognizing Bitcoin Pizza Day, especially in a year when traders are intensely focused on market activity. Bitcoin Pizza Day events will be held in 20 countries across five continents, including Asia, Africa, South America, Europe, and Australia, even reaching traders at their desks. Prizes will be awarded based on the number of events completed.
