The metric, which tracks unique active senders on the $XRP Ledger, also registered a 6% increase over the previous 24 hours, highlighting accelerating participation across the network.
The one-year activity chart shows that active account counts have generally fluctuated between 13,000 and 20,000 since the beginning of 2026, with occasional spikes above 30,000. Following a relatively subdued period between June and August, network participation began recovering in September before accelerating toward the end of October.
More active accounts on the scene
Rising active account counts can indicate growing blockchain usage, increased transaction activity, or renewed participation from existing users. Nevertheless, the metric alone does not establish whether the increase reflects sustained adoption or temporary trading-related activity.
TradingView’s daily $XRP/USD chart shows the cryptocurrency trading near $1.29, following a retreat from September and October highs around $1.55–$1.60. $XRP currently trades below several key moving averages, suggesting that bearish momentum continues to dominate its short-term price structure.
The cryptocurrency is also consolidating near the $1.30 level, with buyers attempting to stabilize prices following weeks of downward pressure. Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains in the lower half of its range, indicating relatively weak buying momentum.
Despite the disconnect between price performance and network participation, the increase in active accounts remains a noteworthy development. Whether this renewed activity eventually supports a price recovery will depend on sustained blockchain usage, broader cryptocurrency market conditions, and $XRP‘s ability to reclaim crucial technical resistance levels.
