Hash War, a blockchain-based auto battler game, has integrated Neo X into its platform. Initially launched on Ethereum, Hash War has since expanded to support both TON and Neo X, offering players the ability to engage in strategic battles, collect heroes, and develop their teams to maximize rewards. With the inclusion of Neo X, players can now use GAS to purchase an exclusive Neo hero.
Hash War and Heroes
Hash War allows players to enjoy both Player vs Environment and Player vs Player scenarios, where they can use heroes to battle monsters or face off against other players. With multiple game modes, including main quests and training sessions, players have numerous ways to earn rewards and participate in gameplay. In an AMA held in September, the platform reported nearly 120,000 players and close to 10,000 daily active users.
Hash War accommodates both NFT and non-NFT heroes, offering players flexibility in their approach to the game. NFT heroes provide players with benefits, such as the ability to be staked to earn the game’s native HAWA token, points, and extra in-game resources. This staking mechanism allows NFT holders to generate passive rewards and gain a competitive edge. On June 15, Hash War released 10,000 NFT heroes for sale at 0.01 ETH each, all of which sold out by June 16. These NFT heroes are now only available for purchase through secondary markets.
Regular non-NFT heroes are designed for progression and gameplay without additional earning mechanisms. With the integration of Neo X, players can now use GAS to purchase an exclusive Neo hero. While the Neo hero is not an on-chain asset, this addition provides Neo players with a unique entry point into the game.
