Still, ChatGPT also underlined that the wider situation in the economy – the recent interest rate hike, bond market tumult, and the elevated oil prices being the key points – placed substantial limitations on any potential rallies by Halloween.
Notably, OpenAI’s platform also described Bitcoin’s early October state as ‘a major recovery inside a damaged cycle’ that is, ultimately, not comparable to the late 2025 upsurge:
That makes the current situation look more like a major recovery inside a damaged cycle than the beginning of another explosive 2025-style advance.
Thus, ChatGPT estimated that Bitcoin’s most likely price on Halloween 2026 is $97,000 for a 12.84% anticipated rally from the press time price of $85,962.
Can Bitcoin price rally soar to $97,000 by Halloween 2026?
Meanwhile, the AI assessment falls in line with both $BTC’s historical October performance and the recent external analysis. To begin with, the year’s tenth month has been relatively strong in each of the previous five years.
For example, Bitcoin enjoyed a rally of nearly 10% in October 2022 despite the ‘crypto winter,’ and rose as much as 30% within the same timeframe in 2023.
Curiously, the cryptocurrency’s performance in the 30 days ahead of Halloween 2025 was comparatively weak and left it essentially flat despite the month also featuring the $BTC all-time high ($ATH) above $125,000.
Looking ahead, however, there appears to be a rising consensus that the digital asset will perform well in October 2026.
As Finbold reported on October 3, the $BTC long-term valuation model, the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart, sees the cryptocurrency as remaining comparatively cheap on Halloween, even if it goes as high as $153,000 and records a new $ATH.
Similarly, major banking institutions have also been turning increasingly optimistic. For example, Citi (NYSE: C) increased its 12-month Bitcoin price target from $83,000 to $113,000 on September 30.

Considering $BTC soared nearly $2,800 to $85,962 since the day the note was published, ChatGPT’s $97,000 forecast for Halloween appears to be in line with institutional analyses of the cryptocurrency, even if it is somewhat optimistic given the long-term prediction.
