Bitcoin started the week trading between the high-$78,000s and $80,447. On Tuesday, $BTC briefly moved above this range but failed to hold the breakout. The price fell back, confirming that buyers did not have enough strength to sustain the move.
Bitcoin then continued to weaken on Wednesday and Thursday. The chart shows lower highs and lower lows, confirming that sellers are in control in the short term.
Bitcoin also failed to reclaim Monday’s trading range, keeping the outlook bearish. The key level to watch is around $76,487, the previous low. A break below this level will open the way toward $75,000.
PPI Adds More Pressure
Bitcoin was already showing weakness, and Thursday’s hotter-than-expected PPI data added further pressure to the market. The failed breakout and stronger inflation reading have both kept Bitcoin under pressure. This makes the upcoming CPI report especially important.

$XRP is also showing clear signs of weakness. $XRP fell from above $1.44 earlier in the week to around $1.32. Selling intensified after $XRP broke below $1.40, with the price continuing to form lower highs and lower lows.
$XRP is now around $1.3275, with the latest low near $1.3206. The $1.3206 area is the first level to watch. Below it, $1.3098 is the next important support.
A sustained break below $1.3098 will push $XRP lower and strengthen the bearish trend. $XRP is also showing no evidence of traders rotating money into it while Bitcoin declines. Instead, $XRP is falling alongside Bitcoin.
This confirms that traders remain cautious and are not yet committing significant capital to $XRP or other major altcoins.
$BTC and $XRP Will Show What Happens Next
