Binance added its tokenized Trump Media & Technology Group security, DJTB, as an eligible margin collateral asset on Aug. 26, expanding its bStocks product into leveraged accounts.
The feature became available at 12:00 UTC for qualifying VIP 3 users and above in approved jurisdictions. DJTB can be deposited as collateral through cross margin, Unified Account Mode and Unified Account Pro.
Binance also opened margin trading for the related bStocks pair. However, users cannot borrow DJTB itself. The token currently functions only as collateral supporting other eligible margin positions.

Binance limits DJTB collateral to selected accounts
DJTB’s inclusion allows eligible traders to use the value of their tokenized Trump Media exposure when calculating available margin. Binance will apply a collateral ratio to determine how much of that value counts toward an account’s borrowing capacity.
The exchange can adjust the ratio and other risk parameters as market conditions change. A lower collateral ratio means Binance recognizes only part of DJTB’s market value when calculating available margin.
DJTB holders face liquidation risk if the token’s price declines and their margin level falls below Binance’s maintenance requirements. Using DJTB as collateral therefore differs from holding the token in a standard spot account.
The product remains limited to VIP 3 customers and above. Binance recently lowered the VIP 3 asset threshold from $3 million to $1 million, although traders can also qualify through applicable volume and BNB holding requirements.
DJTB does not represent direct Trump Media ownership
DJTB provides price exposure linked to Trump Media, which trades on Nasdaq under the ticker DJT. Binance describes bStocks as tokenized securities backed by corresponding underlying financial instruments.
However, DJTB is not a conventional Trump Media share. Holding it does not place the investor directly on the company’s shareholder register or establish an affiliation with Trump Media.
Binance states that bStocks holders may receive economic exposure to price changes and eligible distributions under the product documentation. Any conversion, redemption or corporate action remains governed by the issuer’s terms and jurisdictional restrictions.
That distinction separates DJTB from the nontradable shareholder reward token announced by Trump Media earlier in 2026. The company set a February record date for eligible DJT shareholders to receive its separate digital reward token.
Binance launches spot and margin access together
Binance separately opened DJTB/$USDT spot trading at 12:00 UTC on Aug. 26, according to its official notice. Spot algorithmic trading bots became available alongside the pair.
The exchange scheduled DJTB withdrawals for 13:00 UTC. It also offered zero maker fees for DJTB/$USDT until Aug. 31 at 23:59 UTC and enabled supported conversions through Binance Convert without conversion fees.
The margin expansion follows Binance’s introduction of a separate DJTUSDT perpetual contract on Aug. 25. That derivative provides leveraged exposure to Trump Media’s stock price with up to 20x leverage but does not provide ownership of DJTB or the underlying shares.
In related coverage, crypto.news reported that Binance launched five stock-linked perpetual contracts with 20x leverage, including contracts referencing Trump Media and Moderna.
U.S. investors remain excluded from DJTB
Binance says bStocks are offered under a prospectus approved within Abu Dhabi Global Market. Its ADGM entities operate under Financial Services Regulatory Authority permissions covering exchange, clearing, custody and investment activities.
The product is not publicly offered outside ADGM and is available only to eligible users in approved jurisdictions. Binance’s disclaimer says the securities are traded exclusively through secondary markets.
DJTB has not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 or state securities laws. Binance prohibits its distribution to U.S. persons, including entities acting for their account or benefit.
The restriction reflects a wider division in tokenized equity markets. Crypto.news recently reported that Binance bStocks surpassed $610 million in tracked value, while remaining unavailable to U.S. investors.
Binance has not provided a timetable for enabling DJTB borrowing or expanding access beyond current VIP and jurisdictional requirements. Future changes will depend on new exchange announcements, collateral adjustments and applicable securities rules.
