The exchange stated that users who experienced liquidation due to these fluctuations and meet the specified conditions will receive full compensation in $USDT.
According to Gate’s statement, the investigation covers the unusually sharp price movements seen in the TUTUSDT, LobsterUSDT, and BICOUSDT perpetual contracts.
Gate to Fullly Compensate Liquidated Users with $USDT
Gate stated that it has initiated a special compensation process to protect user rights following the unusual market fluctuations.
Accordingly, users who experience liquidation in the relevant contracts and meet the compensation criteria set by the exchange will have their eligible losses fully compensated in $USDT.
The platform also announced that a dedicated transaction channel has been created for affected users. Users can contact the platform through their VIP account managers, online customer service, and other official Gate channels.
Compensation Payments Will Be Transferred to Spot Accounts Within Three Business Days
Gate.com announced that the compensation plan for eligible users is targeted to be implemented within three business days.
It was stated that compensation amounts would be transferred directly to users’ Gate Spot accounts.
The exchange will determine which users are eligible for compensation based on specified criteria after reviewing applications and related account transactions.
