Pavel Durov, Telegram’s CEO, announced his bullish stance on the MAJOR token, pledging to hold it for the next decade. Durov received 1% of the total MAJOR supply as a gift from Roxman, the creator of the Major mini app.
In a Telegram post, Durov praised Major as “one of my favorite success stories in the Telegram ecosystem.” Launched just five months ago by 27-year-old entrepreneur Roxman, the mini app generated over $10 million in revenue and attracted 70 million users within over 5 months.
Major: A Success Story Within the Telegram Ecosystem
Durov highlighted Major’s rapid adoption of new features within the Telegram platform, adding that these features “feel like they naturally belong in Telegram.” He also expressed his admiration for Roxman, whom he has followed since before the launch of Friends Factory.

The Major mini app allows users to earn “stars” by completing tasks and inviting friends. Users can then exchange these stars for Toncoin (TON) rewards.
MAJOR, the project’s native token, gets listed on six major exchanges Thursday, November 28. Durov also hinted at upcoming innovations from the Major team, including username NFT rentals and digital IDs.
MAJOR Token Price Performance
Following the news, MAJOR gained 1.86% in the past 24 hours and currently trades at $1.43. CoinMarketCap data shows MAJOR with a market cap of $143.29 million and a trading volume of $137.92K. The token had marked an all-time high of $36.75 with a low of $0.6793.
Despite the recent volatility, MAJOR shows strong potential, backed by Durov’s endorsement and with access to Telegram’s vast user base of 950 million.
