Price feeds come first. Blockchains can’t see the outside world, so they rely on services called oracles to report what an asset is worth. RedStone is one of those services, and its feeds let a smart contract know the current value of a tokenized bond, fund, or commodity.
NAV feeds serve a similar purpose for pooled products. A fund’s net asset value is its holdings minus its liabilities, divided across its shares. Putting that figure on-chain means a tokenized fund share can carry a verifiable valuation rather than a vague promise.
The headline feature is RedStone Settle, which Tether says enables T+0 settlement for eligible tokenized assets. T+0 means a trade settles on the same day it happens. The cash and the asset change hands without the multi-day lag that has long defined traditional markets.
The qualifier matters, though. Tether describes the T+0 capability as applying to eligible assets, not everything on Hadron. Which assets qualify was not specified.
The announcement also references auction-based liquidity solutions as part of RedStone’s offering.
Why Ardoino keeps talking about precision
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino framed the deal around one requirement. For tokenized assets to work as collateral or trading instruments, he argued, they need the precision and around-the-clock liquidity that on-chain markets offer.
RedStone co-founder Marcin Kazmierczak shares that focus, according to the announcement. Both executives emphasized making tokenized assets operable as genuine financial instruments, rather than digital receipts sitting idle in a wallet.
Background on Hadron and RedStone
Hadron launched in November 2024. Tether built it to handle the tokenization and lifecycle management of a range of assets, including equities and commodities.
The platform has been accumulating real-world use cases. In August 2026, a real-estate tokenization initiative in Saudi Arabia was announced, and Hadron has added other integrations aimed at strengthening compliance.
RedStone brings its own scale to the table. The company says it serves more than 170 clients and operates across over 100 blockchains, securing billions in total asset value. It specializes in institutional assets and tokenized real-world assets, which makes it a natural fit for a platform courting regulated issuers.
Under this collaboration, RedStone becomes the primary data and settlement layer for institutions and government entities that issue through Hadron.
