Heritage Distilling Holding Company, Inc. announced Tuesday the upcoming release of Bitcoin Bourbon, a limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, alongside a 1 BTC giveaway contest following its new policy of accepting cryptocurrency payments.

The Nasdaq-listed company (CASK), named North America’s most-awarded craft distillery for ten consecutive years, stated Bitcoin Bourbon is crafted at 106.15 proof. The proof strength intentionally references the “6.15” term associated with financial freedom in Bitcoin culture. The bourbon symbolizes a blend of traditional distilling and digital currency innovation.
Heritage is also launching a BTC giveaway contest where one winner will receive 1 BTC. The firm told our newsdesk that U.S. residents aged 21+ gain five entries by signing up for the pre-release list online; purchases made with bitcoin after launch earn additional entries, though no purchase is necessary.

Bitcoin Bourbon will be sold exclusively through Heritage’s direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform, with bitcoin (BTC) accepted as payment. This initiative follows Heritage’s May 15 announcement that it began accepting BTC and DOGE payments, earmarking received cryptocurrency for retention in its treasury.
Heritage Distilling, based in Washington, is one of the leading independent craft distilleries in the U.S. and a major West Coast producer. Its products include whiskeys, vodkas, gins, rums, and ready-to-drink cocktails. According to the team, final product details, including age and mash bill, will be released later.
