Binance has launched Discount Buy, a structured product that allows users to set target prices below current market rates for future crypto purchases or earn fixed APR rewards if the purchase isn’t executed, according to the information shared with Finbold on July 29.
The product provides users with a way to accumulate crypto assets, such as BTC, ETH, BNB, or SOL, in low-volatility markets without the need for constant price monitoring.
“Discount Buy is well-suited for users who anticipate limited price fluctuations and want to accumulate crypto at a discount without needing to time the market or monitor prices closely,” said Jeff Li, VP of Product at Binance. “It offers flexibility across investment scenarios, giving users more choices and opportunities in how they want to participate in the crypto market.”
Buy crypto, split funds, or earn fixed rewards
Users can sign up to Discount Buy using stablecoins like USDC or USDT, selecting fixed-term products with preset conditions including a Target Buy Price, Knockout Price, fixed APR, and Settlement Date. The Settlement Price is calculated as the average market price over a 30-minute window on the settlement date.
The product offers three potential outcomes based on how market prices compare to set levels: 100% principal used for crypto purchase if settlement price meets target, 50% purchase with 50% returned in stablecoins if price falls between target and knockout levels, or full principal returned with APR rewards if price exceeds knockout level.
Once subscribed, all terms, including purchase price, knockout price, duration, and APR, are fixed and cannot be modified. Funds remain locked until the settlement date, with no early redemption option available. No trading fees apply when purchases are executed.
Binance is offering a launch promotion where eligible users who subscribe between July 29 and August 11, 2025, will receive an additional 10% discount for successful crypto purchases through Discount Buy.
