ZetaChain: The Application Layer Solana Needs
The central argument of ZetaChain’s proposal is one of infrastructure. Solana is unifying the building blocks of the AI ecosystem —open compute, agent registry, payment rails— but lacks an application layer with real users. Anuma fills that gap: an app with encrypted memory that the user controls, that travels across models, apps and agents, and that no external provider can retain or use for training.

Solana’s network is ideal for its metrics. Confirmations occur in approximately 400 milliseconds, the median fee is around a tenth of a cent and load tests surpassed 100,000 transactions per second. Additionally, x402, the agent payments protocol, has already processed more than 20 million transactions since July, with Solana as the primary network.
The Role of $ZETA in the New Ecosystem
In economic terms, $ZETA would become the common access token for the entire AI application layer on Solana. The mechanism is already working in Anuma: users lock $ZETA, receive credits and spend them on AI usage. The locked $ZETA exits the circulating supply, creating pressure on available supply as more apps and agents integrate into the same layer.
For holders, the core elements remain unchanged: the $ZETA ticker, the 1:1 conversion, vesting schedules, balances in the Token Dashboard and positions on Ethereum and BSC stay intact. What changes is the technical standard —from its own L1 to a native SPL on Solana— and the surrounding ecosystem, with access to DEXs that settle around $70 billion monthly and payment rails designed for autonomous agents.
ZetaChain also anticipates that conversion on exchanges will depend on individual confirmation from each platform, whose list will be published before any process begins.
