Uniswap Labs has introduced a new way for users to buy crypto using their Venmo balance via MoonPay on its Web platform and Wallet app.

The integration provides access to Venmo’s 60 million active users, creating a new pathway for users to participate in DeFi on Uniswap’s platform.
Earlier this month, MoonPay announced a significant expansion with Venmo, enabling US users to buy and sell crypto assets directly using their Venmo balances, linked bank accounts, and cards.
Now, Uniswap users can fund their wallets on the platform with Venmo via MoonPay, skipping additional credit card entries and bank transfers.
Users simply open the Uniswap Web or Wallet app, tap “Buy,” select their desired token and amount, then choose MoonPay with the Venmo payment option, confirming the transaction on Venmo for a quick, accessible entry into crypto.
By tapping Venmo’s large user base, Uniswap creates new opportunities for people to self-custody funds, manage assets transparently, and join DeFi with ease.
