Silicon Valley’s AI boom is creating demand for a different type of paid companionship. Some technology workers are spending as much as $23,000 per day for escorts who can discuss artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, biohacking, and startup culture.
Forbes reported that the service extends beyond sex. Clients are also paying for attention, informed conversation, and time with someone who understands the technical subjects shaping their work and wealth.
Tech Workers Seek Nerd-First Companionship
Meida Marek, an online pseudonym, moved into escorting after working in an entry-level finance position. Her interests in AI, cryptocurrency, and biohacking later became part of the service she markets to technology-focused clients.
Marek said many of her customers work in or around artificial intelligence. She has also received growing interest from people connected to Nvidia, which sits at the center of the current AI infrastructure boom.
Her pricing reflects the demand. Marek charges $3,500 per hour, nearly double her rate at the start of the year. She also said bookings currently extend several months ahead.
Other escorts use a similar strategy. Talia Sable, a former programmer, promotes her knowledge of AI, supply chains, and gaming. She charges $3,000 per hour.
Meanwhile, Ada Hopper charges $5,000 hourly and up to $23,000 for a full day. Her clients fly her internationally and arrange multi-day bookings, sometimes adding gifts and travel expenses.

AI and Crypto Knowledge Raise Rates
The women featured in the report actively build their brands around technical interests. Their social media posts combine personal marketing with commentary on AI, longevity, data science, and cryptocurrency.
Aella, an early figure in the “nerd-first” escorting model, said clients often want an attractive companion who also respects their intelligence. She charges $6,000 per hour, although she only accepts a small number of clients.
The conversations can occupy most of a booking. Marek described one session where she and a client spoke through the night about the future, with conversation taking more time than sex.
Hopper experienced something similar during her first appointment. She and the client spent much of their time discussing ketosis, intermittent fasting, and metabolic health. The booking was extended, and the professional relationship continued for four years.
Crypto also fits naturally into this market. Several clients come from trading, technology, or startup backgrounds, where digital assets, decentralized systems, and AI investment remain common discussion topics.

AI Wealth Expands the Market
The trend is developing alongside rapid wealth creation across the technology sector. AI company employees, founders, and early investors have gained access to large amounts of equity-linked wealth.
Many of these clients also face demanding schedules. Founders and researchers often structure their lives around work, leaving limited time for conventional dating. Paid companionship offers fixed terms, clear boundaries, and fewer scheduling uncertainties.
One entrepreneur who made money through trading and later launched an AI startup said paying for time provided clearer boundaries. He found Marek through her online writing and later booked extended trips costing about $30,000 per weekend.
Another part of the appeal is human interaction. While AI chatbots can provide constant digital conversation, the reported clients continue paying a premium for unscripted attention from someone who understands their interests.
That combination of AI wealth, crypto culture, and limited personal time has created a small but lucrative market. In this corner of Silicon Valley, technical fluency has become part of the premium service.
