The Shiba Inu ecosystem team has taken to X to express excitement about the prospects of its liquid staking partner, K9 Finance DAO, following remarkable achievements in Q1 2024.
In a recent post, K9 Finance took a moment to appreciate its past success in the first quarter of the year while also gearing up for amazing achievements this second quarter.
K9 Amazing Q1 Success
The K9 Finance team pointed out that it completed its DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) set up by forming a Panamanian foundation and publishing its DAO charters and token terms, among other things.
K9 Finance also highlighted its achievement in terms of website design and branding. The official K9 Finance website now features the project’s litepaper, roadmap, and other media kits.
Interestingly, K9 Finance also saw a major boost in its social presence and media coverage. It ended Q1 with over 8,000 Telegram followers and over 13,000 X followers. K9 Finance also received media coverage from top crypto-related outlets like The Crypto Basic and Shib Magazine.
In addition, the Shiba Inu partner recorded over 150K Spaces listeners in Q1, 12 official DAO meetings, and 12 AMA (ask me anything) sessions on various platforms, including Shibarium Tech’s Telegram group.
Despite launching a few months ago, the report shows that K9 has established a solid support base across different countries, including Indonesia, Japan, Turkey, and China.
KNINE Token and Key Partnerships
Furthermore, K9 Finance DAO emphasized that its native token, KNINE, now boasts over 6,000 holders. Notably, K9 Finance officially launched its native token on March 7, capturing the attention of numerous investors.
Besides launching on Ethereum-based decentralized exchange Uniswap, KNINE has also secured listings on centralized trading platforms like BitMart and MEXC Global.
The previous quarter also introduced successful partnerships involving K9 and top crypto projects, such as Shiba Inu, Bad Idea AI, Sharbi Token, Sky Guardians Capital, Shib Dream, Alphabit, and Coinmerge.io.
Also, K9 Finance’s advisory team consists of prominent members of the Shiba Inu ecosystem team, including top Shiba Inu developers Shytoshi Kusama and Kaal Dhairya.

Reacting to the report, the official Shiba Inu X handle expressed satisfaction with the success of its partner, describing the feats as amazing.
Shiba Inu suggested that following K9 Finance’s success in Q1 2024, the project can achieve more milestones this quarter.

K9 Upcoming Launch on Shibarium
It bears mentioning that K9 Finance recently unveiled the roadmap for the launch of its liquid staking derivative platform on Shiba Inu’s L2 blockchain Shibarium.
The highly anticipated decentralized application (dApp) will launch in three phases, with the first stage, Hesper, expected to roll out toward the end of this quarter. Hesper is the foundational stage of K9 dApp and involves the product’s extensive testing within Shibarium.
The second and third phases of K9’s dApp rollout will occur in Q3 and Q4 2024, respectively. While the second phase, named Boro, will introduce the platform where users can swap their BONE tokens for K9’s liquidity token knBONE, the third phase, Caninae, will finalize the dApp’s launch on Shibarium.
