Ripple Foundation has started a new initiative to share crypto predictions for 2024. The network will be sharing insights from 12 leaders to predict the blockchain and crypto future in the upcoming 12 months.
The initiative kicked off with Fiona Murray, Ripple’s VP and Managing Director in APAC. According to Murray, Ripple will see a hike in the number of institutional adopters. Numerous financial institutions, especially in APAC, will accept cryptocurrency by 2024.
It will include the greater use of cross-border payments among corporations. Leading legacy payment institutions and Web2 brands have started investing in blockchain. The ventures are integrating blockchain technology into their services.
Almost 50% of APAC finance leaders are expecting blockchain technology to significantly impact businesses in the coming 3 years. Murray continued to talk about the recurring theme in the APAC region.
The VP has noticed how more nations are launching new regulator-led pilot programs and projects to integrate blockchain technology. In 2023 alone, Hong Kong and Singapore took center stage in setting examples of adopting blockchain innovation.
The nations have effectively positioned themselves as global crypto hubs added Murray. Now that Ripple has registered a monumental victory over the SEC, the network is ready to lead other ventures by example.
