Crypto exchange KuCoin has confirmed the listing of Sonic SVM (SONIC), a rapidly growing project in the Solana ecosystem. The exchange announced the listing on its website and social media.
According to the announcement, SONIC deposits are now live on KuCoin. Users can send their tokens to the exchange via the Solana (SOL-SPL) network.
SONIC Spot Listing Details
Notably, SONIC trading will go live on Tuesday, January 7, at 12:00 UTC, with the SONIC/USDT trading pair. Withdrawal services for SONIC will become active after a 24-hour window.
For those unfamiliar, Sonic is the first SVM network extension on Solana, designed for games and applications. It powers the Web3 TikTok App Layer, aiming to onboard new users. Sonic uses the Sonic HyperGrid, a framework for optimistic Solana rollups.
KuCoin Adds New Trading Services for SONIC
Following its listing on the spot market, KuCoin is adding several trading services for SONIC, offering more options for traders and users.
First, SONIC will be available for Margin Trading, with the SONIC/USDT pair and a margin coefficient of 0.97, allowing for leveraged trading.
Futures Trading will also be available, with SONIC as the underlying asset. This service offers up to 50x leverage.
For those who prefer a more straightforward way to convert assets, KuCoin Convert will support SONIC starting January 7, with no trading fees.
Moreover, KuCoin Saving will offer SONIC for staking, with an expected APR of 4%. Users can stake up to 5 million SONIC, with the flexibility of immediate redemption.
Fast Trade will allow users to buy SONIC using popular payment methods like Visa, MasterCard, and even their fiat balances on the platform. This feature will be available shortly after SONIC’s listing on KuCoin Spot.
To sweeten the deal, users who deposit SONIC before January 11, 2025, will receive a 30 USDT trading fee discount coupon.
