The announcement has sparked speculation within the community, with the influencer claiming “Big institutions are now buying ETH aggressively. $5,000 ETH is coming soon.”

Such huge Ethereum purchases indicate growing institutional interest and increased confidence in Ethereumblockchain. BlackRock and Fidelity have been investing the cryptocurrency but such aggressive purchases indicate that the institutions believe in blockchain’s potential.
Ethereum has been become one of the greatest long-term investment asset because of the continuous evolution in blockchain that has taken place in the recent times, its transition to proof-of-stake and its dominance in the DeFi and NFT ecosystem. Analysts believe that such moves can significantly impact Ethereum’s price trajectory.
Can Ethereum Reach $5,000?
Even though ETH is trading at $3,399.87 with a surge of 1.7% in the last 24 hours, the influx of institutional capital may ignite the hopes of rally for the token. Today, Justin Sun also denied claims of him liquidating his ETH holdings which would have sent a sense of relief within the community, this might also lead to rally in the prices but the $5,000 mark seems a little far away as of now.
