Assets Remaining in Diva’s Early Staker Vaults
Viewed Oct. 28, 2026 ET; the table’s date labels use UTC (Oct. 29). Asset values are denominated in $ETH; depositor counts are per vault, not a deduplicated total.
The closure also leaves the original DIVA incentive schedule without the mainnet launch needed to trigger it. The shutdown statement announces no alternative distribution for early stakers.
Diva said it ran out of funds in mid-2024. Three people had continued working without revenue or salaries, but could not afford new audits or launch and maintain the protocol, the team said. It cited the risk of vulnerabilities slipping past earlier audits as a reason not to launch.
DIVA Rewards Depended on Mainnet
Under the DAO-approved DIP-02 terms, early deposits established a place in a queue, with earlier participants receiving higher reward rates. DIVA accrual was to begin only 30 days before the formal mainnet launch date, determined retrospectively once that date was known—not throughout the wait for launch.
The terms also required deposited assets to be converted into divETH, Diva’s planned liquid staking token. Anyone redeeming before that conversion was complete would not qualify for DIVA distributions under those terms. With mainnet cancelled, the original schedule cannot proceed as written.
Withdrawing the Pre-Launch Deposits
Diva’s documentation described two Enzyme vaults: $ETH deposits were held idle before launch, while stETH deposits continued earning their existing Ethereum staking rewards. Conversion into divETH was supposed to follow the mainnet launch.
Depositors received vault shares representing proportional ownership of the underlying assets. DIP-02 allowed withdrawals at any time, subject to a default 24-hour lock-up in the vault settings.
Enzyme’s withdrawal instructions tell depositors to connect their wallet, select the vault’s “Withdrawal” button and sign the transaction. Diva’s shutdown statement sets no withdrawal deadline.
