$RLUSD news
US financial services company Cross River Bank announced a partnership with Ripple this week to expand its stablecoin optionality and integrate $RLUSD into its banking core infrastructure, with support for transactions on the $XRP Ledger. The collaboration combines traditional payment technology with $RLUSD on the XRPL, giving issuers and acquirers greater flexibility to settle intraday and reduce settlement latency.
Ripple also announced its partnership with DriveWealth across $RLUSD settlement on the $XRP Ledger, cross-border payments, custody, and prime brokerage to modernize how money moves across global markets.
DriveWealth will integrate Ripple’s stablecoin infrastructure to support settlement in Europe, with plans to expand to the U.S. The integration will leverage $RLUSD on the $XRP Ledger (XRPL), alongside Ripple’s mint and burn capabilities.
Standard Chartered Bank also announced this week the launch of institutional custody services for Ripple’s stablecoin, $RLUSD, through its Dubai International Financial Centre branch.
According to Token Terminal, Ripple led stablecoin issuer growth over the last 24 hours with over $27.4 million added.
