$NFT trading came roaring back last week, and the numbers tell a story that doesn’t quite line up with what’s happening in the broader crypto market. Data from CryptoSlam, captured on September 5, shows a sharp $NFT sales surge of 55.6%, pushing weekly volume to approximately $75.54 million — up from roughly $48.55 million in the previous seven-day stretch. The twist: fewer trades actually happened, and one blockchain nobody expected suddenly jumped to the top of the leaderboard. Key takeaways $NFT sales climbed 55.6% to about $75.54 million over the past seven days, even as total transactions fell 14.77% to…

While jurisdictions worldwide are embracing blockchain-based capital markets, South Korea remains notably absent from this growth, with no legislative progress on security token offerings (STOs) for standard securities. A wallet linked to Hong Kong-based crypto financial services provider Amber Group has withdrawn 200,000 $HYPE tokens from Hyperliquid, valued at approximately $13.83 million, according to blockchain tracking platform Onchain Lens. The transaction, executed five minutes before the report, adds to a series of high-value moves on the derivatives platform as regulatory attention intensifies. This marks a significant potential shift in the…
JAN3 CEO Samson Mow has responded to claims that he reversed his position in the ongoing debate over Bitcoin spam and Ordinals, saying his views have remained consistent. The criticism followed comments from market participants who said Mow appeared to have “pivoted” from earlier positions on Bitcoin governance. In a detailed post on X, Mow rejected that claim, stating that he has always opposed spam and Ordinals while also opposing rushed changes to Bitcoin’s consensus rules. “I hate spam and ordinary garbage,” Mow wrote. “I support efforts to limit spam even if it is a cat-and-mouse game.” He added that…
The surge in AI agents’ dominance across the internet is attracting significant attention and raising curiosity among netizens. During the Q2 earnings call on August 6, Cloudflare CFO Thomas Seifert revealed that non-human traffic surpassed human levels in May 2026. This was achieved one year ahead of expectations, and analysts predict AI agents’traffic could hit 1,000 times human volumes in five years. Stablecoins Will Be AI Agents’ Native Money While the propagation of AI agents is not in doubt, how they interact with mainstream structures, particularly regarding transactions, has raised pressing questions among users. One major inquisition is whether stablecoins…

Something unusual is happening inside Binance’s Bitcoin flow data — and it’s telling two very different stories depending on who you’re watching. According to on-chain analytics firm CryptoQuant, Bitcoin inflows to Binance from large investors known as whales have collapsed by 44.3% from their mid-June peak, falling to just $3.9 billion over the past 30 days. At the same time, retail investors are still sending money in — $7.8 billion over the same window, down only 22%. Retail flows are now running at roughly twice the size of whale flows, with a $3.9 billion gap between the two groups. Key…
Global crypto exchange-traded products drew a net $600 million in July, their first positive month since April, 21Shares said in a monthly flows report published Aug. 10. Ether-native products took $350 million of that, roughly twice the $176 million that went into bitcoin-native products. XRP products added $34 million, Solana products $13 million and baskets $7 million, according to the report, which cites Bloomberg data for the five largest underlyings by assets under management. The month ends a short but heavy stretch of redemptions. The same Bloomberg-sourced series shows $2.5 billion leaving crypto ETPs and ETFs in May and $4.4…
