Brokerage ranks second in terms of median investment size ($18M) while the average investment is $21.5M. Both categories sit well above the rest of the market, suggesting that trading infrastructure continues to attract larger and more standardized funding commitments.
Overall, the data suggests that crypto venture capital is prioritizing commercially established infrastructure over broader ecosystem narratives. Categories linked directly to trading, liquidity, payments, and financial operations receive the largest typical checks.
