Separately, CoinGecko listed Bitcoin near $84,638, and Ethereum at approximately $2,676 when checked on Oct. 3. The broader cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at approximately $2.98 trillion.
Ethereum leads $NFT sales with $17.08 million
CryptoSlam ranked Ethereum first with $17.08 million in sales, down 42.01%. The network accounted for approximately 41.8% of the global total, while its buyer count increased 57.75% to 30,041.
Ethereum’s separately recorded wash-trading volume fell 15.40% to $908,894. Its sales and wash-trading columns together totaled approximately $17.99 million.
Polygon followed with $8.21 million in sales, up 12.89%, and 47,606 buyer addresses, an increase of 26.97%. The network accounted for approximately 20.1% of overall sales.
Polygon also recorded $22.98 million in wash trading, up 22.44%, exceeding its sales volume. CryptoSlam’s combined total for the network was $31.19 million; the $8.21 million sales figure determines its second-place ranking.
Bitcoin placed third with $3.83 million, down 25.56%, while buyer addresses rose 30.73% to 10,377. Its wash-trading volume fell 24.93% to $82,563, compared with a combined total of approximately $3.92 million.
Base ranked fourth with $2.25 million in sales, down 21.98%. Buyer addresses increased 14.96% to 3,373, while wash trading rose 79.93% to $4.80 million. Including that separate category, Base’s combined volume reached $7.05 million.
BNB Chain followed with $2.16 million, a decline of 18.97%. Its buyer count rose 25.63% to 18,844, while wash trading totaled just $1,687.
Immutable ranked sixth with $2.12 million in sales, down 12.73%, and 5,421 buyer addresses, up 27.04%. Solana placed seventh with $1.95 million, an increase of 1.96%, while its buyer count rose 29.73% to 46,684.
Panini ranked eighth among blockchains with $1.87 million, up 557.53%. Its blockchain table showed 743 buyer addresses, an increase of 18.88%.
Courtyard tops weekly $NFT collection sales
Courtyard led CryptoSlam’s collection rankings with $7.31 million on Polygon, up 15.11%. The collection recorded 125,802 transactions, an increase of 15.78%, and 19,288 buyer addresses, up 4.27%.
Seller addresses rose 12.68% to 15,404. Courtyard accounted for approximately 17.9% of global $NFT sales and 89% of Polygon’s recorded sales volume.
Courtyard says its digital collectibles represent physical assets held in custody. Its help center states that vaulted cards are stored in the United States and can be redeemed worldwide, linking the collection’s onchain trading to physical collectibles held in a US vault.
Ethereum-based Credits ranked second with $2.22 million, down 56.92%. Transactions fell 35.75% to 36,660, while buyer addresses declined 54.17% to 1,917 and seller addresses dropped 66.78% to 3,632.
CryptoPunks placed third with $1.97 million, a decline of 76.09%. The collection recorded 21 transactions, down 75.29%, involving 18 buyer addresses and 20 seller addresses.
Panini America took fourth place with $1.87 million, up 557.53%. Its transaction count rose 67.90% to 20,622, while the collection table showed 745 buyer addresses, up 19.58%, and 1,809 seller addresses, up 32.43%.
Bitcoin’s $ATMC BRC-20 NFTs ranked fifth with $1.21 million, up 36.25%. Transactions increased 25.54% to 1,160, while buyer addresses rose 14.73% to 522.
Guild of Guardians Heroes followed with $1.05 million on Immutable-zk, down 17.96%. It recorded 701 transactions and 493 buyer addresses, declines of 18.96% and 12.12%, respectively.
Ethereum’s Argonauts ranked seventh with $1.04 million, down 46.58%, across 572 transactions and 255 buyer addresses. Pudgy Penguins followed with $751,027, up 3.48%, from 89 transactions.
Beeple leads high-value $NFT sales with $436,154 trade
CryptoSlam’s individual sales rankings showed Ethereum accounting for all five largest transactions. CryptoPunks occupied two places, while the three remaining trades settled in $USDC.
