Jupiter DAO has kicked off vote on whether to formally integrate its unofficial media arm, JUP & JUICE, as a Full Working Group with a dedicated budget.
Jupiter DAO is currently holding a vote to decide whether to officially establish JUP & JUICE Media Studio as a Full Working Group, giving it a formal budget and ongoing role within the DAO. The vote went live on June 2 and runs until June 6. As of now, over 449 million votes have been cast—well above the minimum threshold of 198 million needed for a valid result.
JUP & JUICE have been working as an unofficial media team inside the Jupiter DAO since late 2024—producing content, hosting podcasts, creating videos, and generally helping promote and explain what Jupiter is. They claim to have produced 60+ podcasts, 200+ videos, and generated over 7.5 million impressions without any allocated production budget. Their work also includes partnerships with crypto brands like Pudgy Penguins (PENGU), Star Atlas, and Bonk (BONK).
With the proposal now up for vote, JUP & JUICE is asking the Jupiter DAO to formalize their role and provide a one-year budget: 282,000 USD Coin (USDC) for salaries and operations, and 355,000 Jupiter (JUP) tokens (locked for a year) to align long-term incentives.

In their proposal, JUP & JUICE explain that Jupiter moves fast, frequently shipping new products and ideas, but its messaging often doesn’t keep up. This gap in communication has contributed to a fragmented community experience, with users struggling to stay aligned on what’s happening within the ecosystem and why it matters.
JUP & JUICE’s solution is a grassroots media that aims to “unify the Jupiverse” by focusing on three core areas: community unification, ambassadorship, and showcasing DAO members.

For community unification, they aim to create reliable and digestible content that helps everyone stay informed. Under ambassadorship, they want to grow the Jupiter community by collaborating with major crypto players, extending the reach of the ecosystem. And through showcasing DAO members, they plan to highlight individual contributors and initiatives, making the DAO feel more human and accessible.
