Crypto.com says the offering covers elections, sports, crypto prices, Federal Reserve decisions, climate and culture. Its Predict Pro overview also lists commodities, foreign exchange and stock indices, while specifying that access is limited to U.S. users with a futures commission merchant account.
The combo rules limit combinations to sports markets. Traders can bundle two to 20 predictions into one position, including same-game combinations for selected leagues and live legs where available. Any losing leg makes the entire combo a loss. Tied or canceled legs keep the combo active and are subject to special settlement rules.
In ordinary win-or-loss settlement, individual contracts pay $1 when the trader’s position matches the outcome and nothing when it does not, before applicable fees. Ties and cancellations have separate payout rules. Traders can also close positions before settlement, subject to available liquidity.
Settlement timing is contract-dependent. The launch announcement says contracts settle automatically, typically within an hour of resolution. The platform’s settlement guide describes a longer typical window of up to 24 hours after an event concludes, with some markets settling sooner. Crypto.com says each contract displays its resolution source, settlement timeline and dispute window before trading.
An Existing Exchange Behind a New Interface
OG.com Markets is a brand of North American Derivatives Exchange, or Nadex. The CFTC’s registers list that entity as a designated contract market and a registered derivatives clearing organization. Nadex’s brand notification identifies both OG.com and Crypto.com | Derivatives North America as brands used by the same exchange.
Predict Pro joins an expanding set of broker and exchange interfaces for event contracts. Coinbase offers contracts operated by Kalshi. DraftKings launched DKeX, its proprietary prediction-market exchange, in June, integrating it into its Sports & Casino app.
OG.com also supplies another retail broker. As The Defiant previously reported, Robinhood announced in September that it would route selected football contracts to OG.com. Robinhood said the agreement also provides for equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com following the latter’s spin-off.
