Nubila is carving out a unique role in the decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) space, focusing on real-world data collection, especially for environmental, social, and governance applications.
Tightly integrated with ecosystems like VeChain, the project operates a decentralized network of IoT-powered weather stations and sensors that gather real-time data such as temperature, humidity, air quality, and more.
On July 1, Nubila launched its Validation Portal, announcing via X: “The Nubila Validation Portal just dropped. You can now verify real-time weather data and earn instant rewards.”
This rollout marks the beginning of a 90-day, zero-cost campaign aimed at enhancing participation and rewarding early community contributors, without diluting the value for current holders.
How to Earn with Real-World Data
Traditionally, if you wanted to take part in Nubila’s ecosystem, you needed to own a Marco weather station or run a Validator Node, both essential components of their decentralized infrastructure. That requirement still holds, but for the next 90 days, Nubila is opening the doors wider.
Now, anyone with a VeChain wallet can jump in and contribute. It’s a chance for everyday users to get involved, validate real-world weather data, and earn rewards, no hardware or deep technical setup required.
As their X announcement explains: “You can now verify real-time weather data and earn instant rewards. No node needed – just you, your wallet, and the data. sNUBI-powered, B3TR‑Incentivised. First come, first verified, 1400 B3TR/week is in the pot.”Only the first 100 users who validate each day are eligible for B3TR rewards. All others still earn sNUBI.
To participate in Nubila Network’s new data validation portal, users simply link their VeChain wallet to the platform. Once connected, they can start reviewing real-time weather data such as temperature, wind speed, humidity, and UV levels.
After checking the readings, users vote on whether the data is accurate or not, or they can choose to enable auto-validation every 12 or 24 hours. For each successful validation, participants earn 2 B3TR tokens and 350 sNUBI tokens, with rewards distributed until the weekly pool runs dry. To maintain fairness, there’s also a daily cap of 200 B3TR tokens.
According to the Nubila website, community participation is already gaining traction. Out of 2,000 available data slots for the day, 449 have been verified so far, showing growing engagement from users.
The platform also displays the B3TR Distribution Progress, which shows that all 200 daily B3TR tokens have already been distributed, meaning today’s reward pool has been fully claimed.
As for the Points Distribution Progress, 157,150 out of 700,000 points have been allocated, reflecting steady progress in user involvement and reward distribution since launch.
Nubila’s Validation Portal launch fits into VeChain’s efforts to use blockchain for real-world environmental impact. VeChain has been a key player in pushing sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives through its technology.
