Leading U.S. exchange Gemini has announced plans to give away XRP tokens to one lucky follower.
This announcement came via Gemini’s official social media handle on X, revealing plans to give away 305 XRP tokens — equivalent to $1,000 — to one person. According to the post, the exchange is organizing this giveaway to “celebrate the future of finance.”
Context of the XRP Giveaway Celebration
Notably, this move came as the price of XRP surged back into the $3 range, reaching $3.36 after previously dipping to $2.90 this week.
Gemini stated that it would select and notify the winner by August 8. Additionally, the winner must have a Gemini account to receive the reward.
“Something Big Coming in Weeks”
The U.S. crypto platform followed through on its promise, announcing a winner in a follow-up post. It expressed excitement at the level of engagement and welcomed new XRP enthusiasts and followers.
In the same post, Gemini teased that something “BIG” is coming in the next few weeks, urging followers to stay engaged during this period.

Notably, Gemini has been one of the leading U.S. exchanges actively promoting XRP on social media, especially since listing the token in August 2023. Since then, the platform has launched several initiatives to boost XRP’s presence.
Gemini’s Historical XRP Promotions
One such initiative was a special cashback program tied to the Gemini Credit Card. Users could earn XRP rewards by shopping online, including 2% back in XRP on groceries.
Additionally, Gemini launched a limited-time promotional campaign called the “XRP Faucet.” This initiative distributed 4,000 XRP per day, allowing eligible verified users to claim 20 XRP each. This campaign has since ended.
Other Exchanges Promoting XRP
Meanwhile, another U.S. exchange with a long-standing history of supporting XRP is Uphold. In June 2025, Uphold partnered with Zebec Network to reward XRP holders who had at least $50,000 worth of XRP in their accounts on June 11, 2025. Eligible users received a proportional share of $100,000 worth of ZBCN tokens.
From late 2023 to early 2024, Uphold also ran monthly XRP giveaways through its Sweepstakes campaign, offering up to 50,000 XRP to qualifying users.
