“Our first major onchain deployment deals were $200M on @ether_fi, and $200M on @LidoFinance, custodied by @Anchorage,” SharpLink wrote. “These investments allow our team to put $ETH to work everyday.”
Two Allocations, Different Protocol Scale
The allocations are equal in dollar terms but differ substantially against the protocols’ asset bases. DefiLlama listed Lido’s total value locked at about $23.18 billion on Oct. 19, compared with approximately $4.61 billion for ether.fi Stake. Those are protocol-wide benchmarks, rather than measurements of SharpLink’s individual positions.
The ether.fi relationship predates the Lido plan. In October 2025, Anchorage said SharpLink planned to deploy $200 million in $ETH on Linea in phases. The custodian identified weETH as the instrument for that strategy and confirmed its role providing custody infrastructure.
As The Defiant previously reported, Lido added another liquid-staking route to an existing staking and restaking strategy. Holding wstETH reflects staking rewards; deploying it in other DeFi applications is a separate step.
For treasury scale, SharpLink’s second-quarter update reported 888,938 $ETH as of Aug. 3, 2026.
