Nichome, an upcoming platform designed to foster participation in the Neo X ecosystem, has announced a new partnership with Supernova Shards, a multiplayer space simulator. This collaboration is planned to integrate Supernova Shards’ gaming experience into Nichome’s gamified rewards platform, expanding the opportunities for users to earn X Credits.
Nichome’s gamified rewards model
The Nichome platform is designed to incentivize user engagement by rewarding ecosystem participation with X Credits, which can be used to unlock Treasure Chests. Users stake GAS to obtain these Chests and must collect enough X Credits to acquire a KEY to unlock them. This approach combines gamification with decentralized finance to encourage activity across the Neo X ecosystem. X Credits can be earned through various activities, including:
- Inviting friends to join Nichome
- Completing daily tasks within the ecosystem
- Bridging assets to Neo X via Nichome
- Staking assets on the platform
With the new partnership, users will be able to earn X Credits through gameplay and other interactions within Supernova Shards.
Supernova Shards
Supernova Shards is a multiplayer space simulator that joined the Neo ecosystem in 2022 through the EcoBoost program. The game combines strategy and exploration, allowing players to engage in space simulations. Supernova Shards recently expanded its in-game currency, LFC, to Neo X and introduced exclusive starship blueprint NFTs available for purchase exclusively on Neo X.
Nichome is currently in a preview phase, with plans to roll out its full suite of functionalities in the near future.
