Pseudonymous marketing lead of the Shiba Inu team, known to the SHIB community as Lucie, has published an important tweet to warn the SHIB army about possible dangers and threats they may face while using Shibarium and the tokens that are part of its ecosystem.
She also reminded the community about the basic characteristics of the Shiba Inu meme coin.
As she did it, the SHIB burn rate skyrocketed, demonstrating a four-digit growth today.
Lucie’s warning to the SHIB army
The SHIB’s marketing expert published an AI-generated image of herself in a cartoon style, meditating, with smaller images of Shibarium tokens around her – SHIB, BONE, LEASH, and TREAT.
She reminded the audience that SHIB was built on Ethereum, then thanks to the strong efforts of the SHIB developers, it was bridged to Shibarium. The important thing shared by Lucie in this tweet was that the original SHIB address can be found only at the official Shiba Inu website.
She warned the SHIB community: “Stay SAFE. DYOR. Avoid fakes.”

A similar warning, but related only to the TREAT token, was published on Wednesday by an X account affiliated with SHIB – @susbarium. The warning reminded the SHIB community that this token runs only on the smart contract addresses on Ethereum (0xa02C49Da76A085e4E1EE60A6b920dDbC8db599F4) and on Shibarium (0x506d8d2d9c715Eb34F514cc3EF48C7aBD19e2bc7) which can be found on the official SHIB website. “Only One Shiba Inu Treat,” the tweet stated.
SHIB burns skyrocket 1,887%
In the meantime, according to the data provided by the Shibburn tracker, over the past 24 hours, the SHIB community has been able to propel the burn rate of their favorite meme coin by 1,887% up. This was the result of burning millions of meme coins – 4,580,463 SHIB.
The two largest transfers that helped to destroy that amount of coins carried 4,580,463 SHIB and 1,173,708 SHIB to unspendable blockchain addresses five and three hours ago.
On Wednesday, Lucie spread the word about a new opportunity to burn SHIB – via the Zora.co platform linked to the BASE layer-2 chain built by the Coinbase exchange on Ethereum. Lucie invited SHIB holders to join the “BASE fam” and help burn Shiba Inu by using Shibarium. Part of BONE gas fees on it are set aside on every transaction performed and then are automatically converted into SHIB and burned.
