According to data from decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Hyperliquid, after a volatile week in the market, many investors’ positions were liquidated, while the famous crypto whale “The White Whale” still remains at the top of the leaderboard.
The whale is currently carrying a total long position of approximately $359 million across three major positions in Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Bitcoin (BTC).
The whale’s current positions are as follows:
- 48,405 ETH (approximately $181 million)
- 810,717 SOL (approximately $152 million)
- 223 BTC (approximately $26 million)
Total unrealized profit: approximately $33 million
“The White Whale” operates through four different accounts, each with highly leveraged long positions. Some of the accounts are significantly profitable, while others are experiencing losses.
Among the four accounts The White Whale traded, Ethereum holds the largest position. The total position, worth 28,243 ETH, is worth over $105 million and currently represents a loss of approximately $380,000.
However, a different ETH position, holding 13,745 ETH, has generated approximately $10.6 million in unrealized profit. This position opened at $2,961 with 25x leverage and has now risen to $3,733. Another ETH position, holding 6,415 ETH, has generated approximately $5 million in profit.
On the Solana side, there are two large positions. The first position contains 459,703 SOL and is worth $85.6 million. This trade stands out with an unrealized profit of approximately $16.1 million. However, the second SOL position, with 351,013 SOL and a value of $65.3 million, is currently in a loss of approximately $107,000. The entry price for this position is $186, while the liquidation price is $149.
The Bitcoin position, meanwhile, is 223 BTC and worth approximately $26.3 million. Opened with 40x leverage, the trade’s entry price was $117,650, resulting in an unrealized profit of approximately $100,000 despite the current price drop.
