Bitmain Antminer L7 Profitability in 2026

The Bitmain Antminer L7 is an ASIC crypto miner specialized for the Scrypt algorithm, which is used to mine the popular cryptocurrencies Litecoin and Dogecoin. The Antminer L7 is no longer a competitive miner, as you would need extremely low electricity prices to make a profit.

The Bitmain Antminer L7 produces 9,160 MH/s in hashrate, has a power efficiency of 0.35, and a power consumption of 3,225 W (efficiency and power consumption ratings assume a temperature of 25°C). The miner was first released in November 2021 and is manufactured in Indonesia. The Bitmain Antminer L7 price ranges from $770 to $890, depending on the vendor.

While Litecoin and Dogecoin are by far the most popular coins that can be mined with the Bitmain Antminer L7, it can also be used to mine other Scrypt-based cryptocurrencies, like Digibyte.

How much does the Antminer L7 make per day?

The Bitmain Antminer L7’s profitability will primarily depend on how much you’re paying for electricity, and it’s unlikely that your electricity costs are low enough to make the L7 a profitable option. At the time of writing this article, Litecoin is trading at $52, and Dogecoin is trading at $0.09. Based on these prices and the current difficulty of mining $LTC and $DOGE, the breaking point in terms of electricity costs is $0.05 per kilowatt hour. In other words, if your electricity costs are at $0.05 KWh or under, the Bitmain Antminer L7 would be profitable at the moment.

However, even if mining is technically profitable on a day-to-day basis, you also need to consider how long it would take for you to get enough mining income for the miner to pay for itself. You also need to take into account the fact that ASIC miners themselves steadily lose value over time, as new models with improved efficiency enter the market constantly.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how the profitability of the Antminer L7 varies based on different electricity prices, assuming the current $LTC and $DOGE prices, as well as the current mining difficulty:

We don’t recommend the average user get involved with ASIC mining, as a significant capital investment and very favorable electricity prices are required for mining coins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin to make economic sense. Of course, this doesn’t apply if you’re primarily looking to mine coins as a hobby and don’t intend to make a profit from mining.

FAQs

Now, let’s quickly answer some of the most common questions users have about the Bitmain Antminer L7 ASIC miner.

What is the hash rate of the L7?

The hash rate of the Antminer L7 is 9,160 MH/s (megahashes per second). This is the equivalent of 9.16 GH/s (gigahashes per second).

What is the input voltage for the Antminer L7?

According to official specifications, the input voltage for the Antminer L7 is 200~240 volts.

What are the dimensions of the Antminer L7?

However, it’s not very easy to make a profit with mining in today’s highly competitive landscape, and you’ll need very favorable electricity prices for the endeavor to be profitable.
