Binance has confirmed it will support the token swap and rebranding of the AI16Z token to ELIZAOS, as part of a broader ecosystem upgrade on its Alpha 2.0 platform. The move is aimed at streamlining interoperability for AI-powered applications across multiple blockchain networks.
According to an announcement released on Oct 31, Binance Alpha and Binance Futures will facilitate the rebranding and redenomination process, which will begin on Nov 6. Trading for AI16Z (AI16Z) will be temporarily suspended from 10:00 UTC on that day to allow for the token swap.
All AI16Z tokens held in Binance Alpha 2.0 accounts will be automatically converted to ELIZAOS at a 1:6 ratio. Trading and deposits for the new ELIZAOS token will resume at 02:00 UTC on Nov 7. Binance emphasized that users should ensure all AI16Z deposits are completed before the suspension begins, as AI16Z will no longer be supported after the transition.

On Binance Futures, all open positions on the AI16ZUSDT perpetual contract will be closed and settled automatically at 09:00 UTC on Nov 6. New positions will be blocked starting from 08:30 UTC. The contract will be removed entirely after settlement, with details of any relisting to be shared later. During the final hour before settlement, no support from the Futures Insurance Fund will be available for liquidations.
ELIZAOS total supply to hit 11B
Following the migration, the total supply of ELIZAOS will increase from 6.6 billion to 11 billion tokens. The circulating supply will immediately rise to 7.4 billion, with further details on distribution to be announced separately.
The AI16Z token originally served as the native asset for Auto.fun, an autonomous AI agent platform. The rebranding to ELIZAOS represents a major move toward a more scalable and interoperable infrastructure. Inspired by the original ELIZA chatbot from the 1960s, the new branding reflects the platform’s evolution toward more generative AI capabilities.
In September, the Auto.fun project opened a migration portal for the token swap, stating the shift was necessary to enhance decentralized AI operations across Solana, Base, Ethereum, and other chains. ELIZAOS will act as a cross-chain utility token, eliminating the need for bridge-based transfers and improving efficiency across the $20 billion AI ecosystem it powers.
