Asteroneo has introduced an Airdrop Points System designed to reward early users as the platform continues to develop on the Neo X chain. This initiative offers participants opportunities to earn points that will later convert into allocations of the ASTR token once it is officially released. The program is scheduled to launch on Aug. 23, and is structured across three seasons, each with unique activities and point multipliers aimed at driving engagement.
Airdrop Points System
Participants of the Airdrop Points System will be allocated 15% of the total ASTR supply, to be distributed across three seasons. Users can earn points by participating in activities on the Asteroneo exchange, with each action carrying a specific multiplier that impacts the points earned. At the end of the event, ASTR tokens will be distributed based on how many points each user has collected.
Asteroneo’s airdrop system is designed to evolve over three distinct seasons, each introducing activities tailored to different stages of the platform’s development.
- Season 1 centers on foundational activities, encouraging early participation through token swaps and liquidity provision with GAS. Users can also create and list their own tokens, while NeoNaut NFT holders gain a bonus through multipliers.
- Season 2 shifts focus to the upcoming ASTR token, offering higher multipliers for holding ASTR, providing liquidity, and participating in presales. This phase is aimed at building momentum around the token’s launch.
- Season 3 broadens engagement by introducing lending, borrowing, and revenue-sharing activities alongside mini-games and decentralized identity registration. These features reflect the expanding ecosystem as Neo X matures.
Each season is intended to build upon the last, progressively introducing more advanced opportunities for users to earn points and secure allocations of the ASTR token. The full multiplier breakdown can be found in the graphic below:
Season 1 of the Airdrop Points System is scheduled to begin on Aug. 23, 2024. A NeoNauts NFT integration is expected to follow shortly after. NeoNauts is a Neo X-based NFT collection that was scheduled to launch on Aug. 19th, but has been delayed until the week of Aug 26. Each NFT is intended to provide utility on the Asteroneo exchange and is also planned to provide 2x multipliers as part of the points program.
Service notice
Users of Asteroneo’s GAS wrapping and unwrapping functionality, in particular when using GAS to open a liquidity pool, should be aware that the team has decided to deploy its own version of WETH to represent wrapped GAS used for LP purposes. This may cause some confusion with users that expect GAS to be wrapped to the network’s official WGAS contract.
Additionally, no facility is currently provided in the frontend to unwrap this WETH back to the native GAS asset. Asteroneo cited incompatibilities between WGAS and its contracts.
