Leading XRPL wallet Xaman recorded impressive transactional and user-related figures in Q1 2025 amid growing traction toward the XRP Ledger.
The buzz around XRP and the XRP Ledger has only spiked since its November price outburst. User participation and liquidity have surged within the ecosystem, spilling to applications building on the network.
Xaman, a prominent self-custody wallet developed by XRPL Labs, has benefited immensely from these activities. Specifically, the web3 wallet processed over a billion dollars in XRP payments in the year’s first quarter.
$1B Worth of Transactions in Three Months
In an X post, Xaman, formerly Xumm, disclosed impressive figures in its brief Q1 round-up on April 1. Per the tweet, the wallet processed over $1 billion in XRP payments alone in the first three months of the year.

Robert Kiuru, XRPL Labs’ COO, stressed that the staggering figures are a testament to the serious traction toward Xaman. He further revealed that certain users shifted eight figures in a single transaction for meager fees, as the XRP Ledger enthusiasts show a level of trust for the self-custody wallet.
Meanwhile, Xaman also saw a new user influx in the last quarter. Over 100,000 new users registered with the leading web3 wallet, expanding its coast. Notably, Xaman is well-placed for such astronomical adoption as it supports over 8,300 cryptocurrencies across the XRP Ledger and Xahau network.
New Xaman 4.0 Roll-Out Further Boosts Adoption
Among other achievements, Xaman rolled out v.4 of its crypto wallet, adding new and attractive features. The March 10 upgrade introduced seamless swap features, allowing users to choose a UI provider for any asset on the XRP Ledger.
Xaman further simplified onboarding, claiming it made the process 10 times faster. The upgraded software allows instant account setup or import and optimized interaction with the Tangem card. Meanwhile, users can now seamlessly switch between the XRPL and Xahau.
Since rebranding from Xumm to Xaham in December 2023, the wallet has sealed its position as the leading self-custody wallet for the XRPL blockchain. Xaman partnered with Mastercard’s Immersve in August 2024 to roll out web3 cards and rounded off the year strong, recording payments worth over $6 billion.
