Predict.fun launched what it describes as the first real-time “mention-based” prediction market, allowing users to bet on specific words Changpeng Zhao (CZ) will say during his upcoming BNB Chain AMA.

The market went live ahead of the December 18 session, scheduled for 16:30 UTC+4, and is directly integrated with a livestream of the event.

“I checked, and there’s a 94% probability that people have already bet on CZ definitely mentioning the term BNB more than 5 times,” Kuai Dong wrote, highlighting how trader expectations formed even before the AMA began.

Kuai Dong noted that the setup reflects how prediction markets are increasingly being applied to nontraditional events. He compared the experience to audience voting during live entertainment shows, but with outcomes driven by crypto-based markets rather than centralized platforms.

“Everything has become predictable, from politics at the top to a single online live stream at the bottom,” he added.

Predict.fun framed the launch as a milestone for the sector, stating it was introducing the concept “for the first time in prediction market history.”

The platform emphasized that users would be able to follow the outcomes in real-time through the integrated market page livestream as the AMA takes place.

The AMA itself, hosted by BNB Chain, is positioned as a year-end review and forward-looking discussion. In an announcement shared by BNB Chain, the session is described as a summary of 2025 and an outlook on the future development of builders, the network itself, and the broader ecosystem.

CZ first entered the prediction market space in early December, highlighting that user funds can generate yield while awaiting outcomes.

Just one day before CZ’s update, Trust Wallet released its Predictions feature, with Web3 prediction market protocol Myriad joining as the first integration partner.
