The Neo Council launched Operation Meteor, an open call for community input into a structured process to define Neo’s strategic market focus for 2026-2031. The initiative, announced by COZ on Sept. 15, evaluates potential market opportunities against 16 formal criteria scored by Council members, with two participation windows open through Sept. 25.
Neo Global Development invited the Neo community to celebrate 10 years of Neo MainNet with Neo 3650. With Neo 3650, participants can register AI agents that will research specific days from the blockchain’s first decade and transform those findings into generative artworks. The artworks will be minted on the Neo X EVM sidechain and preserved on the NeoFS decentralized storage network. A 500 $GAS reward pool will be distributed across participants when the campaign concludes.
GrantShares witnessed the submission of a funding proposal for Pusharoo requesting 2,000 $GAS to fund a non-custodial Neo N3 developer workspace for managing smart contract artifacts, deployments, upgrades, interactions, and on-chain events through a connected wallet. The full amount would cover roughly 12 months of production hosting, storage, and event-relay operation rather than developer compensation, since prior development was funded through COZ Proof of Work rounds 2.8, 2.9, 2.10, 2.11, and 2.12.
GrantShares also witnessed the submission of a funding proposal for Reddon Neo News requesting 1,350 $GAS for an AI-hosted video channel covering Neo N3, Neo X, NeoFS, and ecosystem dApps. Reddon reports 78 videos produced and subscriber growth from 42 to 741, and would use the funding to maintain a minimum of two videos per week and run targeted ad campaigns on YouTube and X. Reddon was previously awarded a grant of 100 $GAS in Oct. 2025.
Frank Coin shared progress on World of Elements, including a successful fusion of the main and test build, bug fixes, the addition of a loading screen, among other updates. Additionally, Frank Coin hosted a Telegram games session, awarding 100 FRANK to the top player and 40 FRANK each to 10 randomly selected participants.
nDapp reported the weekly N3 $GAS check-in. Network users claimed 73,509 $GAS this week, while on-chain activity burned 614 $GAS.
NNT hosted a GasBot Trivia round where participants competed for a pool of 4 $GAS.
Developer Updates
AxLabs deployed the complete Ax402 stack on Neo X, giving developers a live payment infrastructure to monetize REST APIs, gate resources behind a stablecoin paywall, and let AI agents pay each other programmatically. Payments settle on a per-request basis using supported tokens including USDC and xGAS.
