General Updates
Neo upgraded the Neo X TestNet to the Gamma version, which is intend to become the long-term supported TestNet network. This update implements a policy-based transaction fee-burning mechanism, replacing the EIP-1559 dynamic base fee model. The Gamma version also includes protocol extensions, enhanced system contract features, native bridge improvements, and documentation updates. Security audit results have led to system contract and dBFT protocol enhancements and stability fixes.
MetaCollabWin, a Web3 metaverse and real-world asset game, is joining the Neo X ecosystem. The 3D world game allows players to build a digital version of Bitcoin City and participate in side quests to earn points to upgrade digital land and characters. Additionally, Neo launched a new Galxe Quest social media campaign in collaboration with MetaCollabWin, offering the equivalent of US $200 in rewards.
TrendX announced plans to integrate Neo X. TrendX describes itself as an industry-leading AI analysis and trend tracking technology to capture investment opportunities in real-time. Neo also launched a Galxe Quest social media campaign in collaboration TrendX. This campaign offers $200 in rewards – $100 in GAS provided by Neo and $100 in USDT (on the BNB Chain) provided by TrendX.
Neobox announced plans for a Telegram app, featuring a reward system in advance of the NEOBOX NEP-17 token generation event. Users will be able to earn rewards for activities such as referring users, connecting to and interacting on Neobox’s other social media accounts, plus more.
Phoenix is hosting a meme campaign, Phoenix GenAI, in collaboration with Meme2Earn. The total prize pool is $500 in TIPS, to be split evenly among the Top 25 meme creators. The campaign is live and concludes on July 31.
COZ is also collaborating with Meme2Earn in the lead-up to the launch of Neon Wallet v3. The top meme creators will share from a rewards pool of up to $200, and the campaign is live through Monday, July 22.
Frank Coin hosted a community quiz on the team’s official Telegram channel. The top three participants each won 70 FLM, and ten random winners each won 60 FRANK tokens. Frank Coin also hosted a quiz on the Neo F1 Discord server with the same prize reward structure.
Flamingo shared statistics on top tokens traded by volume for week 28 of 2024, noting $10.33 million in volume for FLM, $6.67 million for bNEO, and $2.46 million for fUSDT.
