Verasity, a blockchain protocol focused on video monetization and ad fraud prevention, has announced a strategic partnership with SoonChain—an AI-powered gaming Layer 2 (L2) platform. The collaboration aims to bring Verasity’s video delivery infrastructure to the next generation of Web3 games built on SoonChain’s ecosystem.
Verasity’s proprietary VeraPlayer will now be used across SoonChain’s gaming network to deliver trailers, gameplay showcases, tutorials, and other video content.

Astrena AI is also integrating VeraPlayer to support video trailers and cinematic content. Eventually, Verasity plans to introduce VeraViews, its full-stack ad tech solution, to bring monetization to the platform.
As part of that deal, Verasity will offer exclusive NFT airdrops to its $VRA token holders. These digital collectibles will unlock in-game features and enhance player engagement inside Astrena’s ecosystem.
The Token Burn Strategy
Verasity has also strengthened its tokenomics in 2024. On April 22, the platform executed its largest VRA-denominated token burn to date, removing over 174 million tokens—worth around $230,000 at the time—from circulation. This burn accounted for 1.78% of the total supply, continuing a deflationary roadmap aimed at long-term sustainability.
This follows a historic burn in October 2023, when Verasity eliminated 10 billion VRA tokens after one of the largest community votes in crypto history. Over half a million community members participated. That burn removed 50% of the token’s max supply, signaling Verasity’s commitment to transparency and value creation.
