VeBetterDAO has introduced the Venus GM NFTs, the fourth tier in its NFT-based rewards system. This latest addition enables participants to increase their $B3TR value, at the same time enhancing membership in the ecosystem.
Venus GM NFTs also have additional reward ratios, meaning that people who hold them get more governance rewards after voting. This implies that the participants who are promoted to this level have higher control over the formation and management of VeBetterDAO.
On the other hand, the Venus tier adopters also get community privileges and special art to show for it. Venus GM NFTs can be claimed for free by the holders of Thunder and StrengthX nodes, while others can reach this level through a donation of 50k B3TR Treasury.
Venus GM NFTs’ launch signifies the beginning of an expansion plan that would span until 2025. VeBetterDAO has ensured that there is a tier system that leads to the highest tier in Galaxy NFTs. Subsequent tiers will be unlocked at certain time intervals in which additional B3TR contributions will be required.
Mars will be released in March, with a contribution of 100,000 B3TR, and Jupiter will be released in April with 250,000 B3TR. Saturn will be unlocked in May and will require 500,000 B3TR, while Uranus will be unlocked in July and will require 2,500,000 B3TR.
Additionally, the Neptune tier is slated for September, needing 5,000,000 B3TR, followed by Galaxy in November, which will require 25,000,000 B3TR. Some node holders will be upgraded free at certain levels, but participation will be required when other levels are involved. Beginning in May, there shall be new tiers that unlock every two months because of the enhanced commitment that is expected at different tiers.
VeChain Renaissance and Network Growth
VeBetterDAO’s tiered system correlates with the VeChain Renaissance Roadmap, wherein the organization seeks to extend more offers to individuals. To this effect, VeChain’s blockchain network boasts a total committed user base of over five million distinct wallet addresses.
Additionally, the VeChain Renaissance features new elements like staking NFTs and improved tokenomics configuration, as reported by CNF. Some of these changes are aimed at enhancing accessibility and usage in the enterprise environment. Another project in the initiative is the VeWorld Super App, which is supposed to integrate application interactions into the ecosystem.
The Galactica phase is part of VeChain’s development plan and is ongoing where stakeholders are voting on its execution. The upgrade also comes with recommendations complementing the protocol, such as a new Dynamic Gas Fee Market version and a model using VTHO and EVM compatibility.
As of the time of writing, 46 stakeholders have voted, leaving six days for the rest of the participants. The upgrade will help to enhance VeChain’s position as one of the scalable enterprise blockchain solutions.
