The blockchain network VeChain has consistently promised to bring real-world utility to cryptocurrency. VeChain released four new Decentralized Applications (DApps) that reward daily action to fulfill this promise.
The 4 VeChain DApps Bringing Real-World Utility
VeChain proponent and Ambassador Sebastian on the social media platform X noted the four new DApps, highlighting their relevance to sustainability. Sebastian pointed out that while other chains have promised real-world utility, VeChain is shipping it.

According to him, VeChain has unveiled clear roadmaps to meet the ever-rising demand of users. “No vaporware, No vague roadmaps. Just clean UX, live incentives, and $B3TR on-chain,” Sebastian noted.
The four purpose-driven DApps recently released by VeChain include ScoopUp, BetterBag, Bubbles, and EatGreen.
VeChain developers designed ScoopUp to ensure dog poop does not go to waste. Through ScoopUp, dog owners can now drop their dog poop and receive B3TR tokens as rewards. Users can access the platform through the website, scoopup.vet.
The process starts from users dropping the poop at specific log waste pickups after which they drop location pins. Finally, they snap a picture as proof and earn B3TR tokens as incentives for contributing to a greener ecosystem.
The second DApp, BetterBag, discourages the use of plastic bags. Instead, it encourages users to utilize reusable bags and rewards them for their actions. To get started on BetterBag, users must connect their X Account and submit their public VeChain wallet address in the dashboard after logging into betterbag.net.
Users must share pictures of themselves using a reusable bag when carrying their groceries. VeChain will reward eco-friendly users every Tuesday after each allocation round. Note that rewards are based on users’ contributions.
The third DApp, Bubbles, encourages users to stay hydrated, using refillable bottles. VeChain has mapped out refill stations, where users can scan a QR code after a refill. After scanning, hydration streaks are logged, and users earn B3TR tokens.
Finally, VeChain designed EatGreen to promote healthy eating habits. EatGreen uses AI to turn meals into sustainability data. To begin, users must snap a photo of their plate. The AI feature then analyzes the amount of CO₂eq produced by every ingredient in the dish. Users earn B3TR tokens as cashback for eating less polluting products.
VeBetterDAO Pioneer Sustainability Initiatives
The VeBetterDAO is the engine behind the development of the new DApps. Each app’s action aims to ensure clean streets, reduce plastic, encourage hydration, and drive mindful eating.
VeChain developed the VeBetterDAO as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to incentivize and reward sustainable actions and activities. As we discussed earlier, VeBetterDAO is gaining more momentum as it works toward simplifying application interactions in the VeChain ecosystem.
VeChain expanded the VeBetterDAO ecosystem by allocating 7,500,000 B3TR tokens for centralized exchange (CEX) listings and promotional efforts. VeChain aims to improve liquidity, boost trading volume, and accelerate global adoption of VeBetterDAO’s governance token, B3TR.
