The Dark Mythos NFT collection has announced that its migration to the IOTA EVM is scheduled for next month, marking a new era for the dark fantasy auto-battler platform.
Dark Mythos is the first feeless playable and tradeable crypto trading card game (TCG) designed on Shimmer, the IOTA staging network. It launched its NFT collection officially in May last year as a new offering in the Dark Mythos Universe. Holders of these unique NFT cards can unlock exclusive stories crafted by the fantasy author Marco Dulk.

The team pledged to provide more rules and guidelines on the migration by September 30, urging the NFT holders to “prepare to make their move. A week later, on October 7th, all Dark Mythos NFTs will be airdropped onto the IOTA EVM.

When it launched last May, the NFT collection was billed as the perfect way to provide a captivating narrative experience alongside the card-collecting journey for the players. Every NFT holder gains access to exclusive stories crafted by Dulk. They delve deep into the lore of Dark Mythos and provide more insight into the characters of this mystic fantasy world. One of the unique differentiators with these cards is that the team erected to onboard a renowned fantasy author to craft the storyline, other than relying on generic AI content like most other projects do. Meanwhile, IOTA has gained 1.4% in the past day to trade at $0.1459 and maintain its market cap above $500 million. The volume also surged 10% but was unable to breach the $10 million mark.
