Tangem, a crypto wallet provider, announced on X that it has started the integration process with Shibarium. The goal is to deliver the integrated product by the end of this month or the beginning of the next month. This will enable the users of Tangem to leverage the capabilities of Shibarium. This entails fast transactions, low costs, and the storage of tokens like NFTs, including Shiboshis.
The announcement has sparked massive excitement among the Shiba Inu community members. Sentiments are mutual in the Tangem ecosystem. It is being built upon their previous partnership for a SHIB-branded wallet project.
Shibarium’s integration with Tangem consists of a complicated process. The steps are related to searching for a proper API, turning the public key into an address via encoding, fetching relevant data from the API & executing transactions, and compiling all the transactions. The tentative timeline, which states that the integration will conclude by the end of this month, is based on Tangem’s response to an X user who wanted to know if they could keep their otters on Tangem card soon.
Tangem and Shiba Inu’s expansion of their association with the integration of L2 solutions has gained the attention of their community. However, the native token of Shiba Inu has yet to reflect the optimism on the trading board. SHIB was last seen exchanging hands at $0.000009504 with a slip of 1.01% in the last 24 hours at the time of writing this article. Nevertheless, the future of Shiba Inu remains bullish, with SHIB estimated to end the year at $0.0000250, assuming developments flow in seamlessly.
Shiba Inu and Tangem go back to the time when they joined hands to introduce the Shiba-branded Tangem wallet. The product was teased in May last year by Shiba Inu, only to reveal later that the team behind the product was Tangem. Tangem previously also partnered with Bad Idea AI, Shiba Inu’s partner, back in October last year.

Members of the Tangem community have expressed their excitement about the integration with Shibarium. Some of them have even said that they will now buy their wallets. Others have sought the addition of more chains to the network, including Pulse Chain.
Moving forward, Tangem and Shiba Inu plan to test the integration and launch an app update for the users, offering an option to see Shibarium on the interface.
The year 2024 will continue to fluctuate for SHIB despite Shibarium’s integration with Tangem. It could gain a push after Bitcoin Halving, an event that every crypto enthusiast is looking forward to.
