Sui DePIN, the first Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) layer on the SUI blockchain, has announced its upcoming Initial DEX Offering (IDO), marking a significant milestone for the project.
Decentralizing data ownership, Sui DePIN lets users control and earn from the AI models in which they participate. Developers tap into user-generated data streams, opening new avenues for AI progress without relying on centralized platforms.
Sui DePIN Reveals Strategic IDO Partnerships
Sui DePIN has announced its imminent IDO on SuiPad, the largest native launchpad on the Sui network. The launchpad allows the community to participate in early-stage token sales for stringently vetted Tier-1 projects.
Another IDO launchpad partner is Ape Terminal, which is advertised as the largest launchpad in the industry. It has up to $1.84 billion in assets connected and is said to be behind one of the most successful launches of 2024.
Known as the first Modular Data AI Network, Sui DePIN has gained substantial traction. It has over 200,000 active users and more than 1.5 million AI nodes. According to Sui DePIN, this traction follows strategic support from major players such as Aethir Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
These grants have positioned Sui DePIN to capitalize on SUI’s recent momentum. The blockchain also recorded over $570 million in trading volume last month. The project’s fully diluted valuation (FDV) starts at just $2.55 million, highlighting its growth potential. Against these backdrops, Sui DePIN celebrated its progress in 2024 in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter).
“2024 has been an incredible year for SuiDePIN! We’ve achieved over 1.5 million total active nodes, and with our listing set for the 6th of January, we’re just getting started,” the post read.
The team also announced its roadmap for early 2025. Part of this roadmap is a snapshot for Season 1, which begins on January 9. Rewards distribution will commence on January 13.
“We believe rewarding users with just $1–$3 for using a testnet doesn’t make any sense. Instead, we’ll focus on rewarding fewer users with much bigger rewards,” the post added.
The announcement of Sui DePIN’s IDO and its broader plans have driven positive market sentiment. According to BeInCrypto data, the SUI token’s price is up by over 8%, reflecting investor confidence in the project’s potential to deliver long-term value.

Elsewhere, the project has decided against using Polka as a launchpad, citing a lack of support for the Solana network. This decision reflects Sui DePIN’s commitment to aligning with networks that complement its vision.
“We’ve canceled the sale on Polka because they don’t support the Solana network for IDOs. We’re launching on Sui and Solana, and other launchpads have their allocations on the Solana network,” Sui DePIN articulated.
Sui ecosystem continues to expand, with the recent launch of Chirp’s first Sui DePIN Play-to-Earn game. Chirp combines gaming with decentralized infrastructure, creating new opportunities for user engagement and monetization. This novel approach highlights the versatility of the Sui blockchain.
