The leading figure of the Shiba Inu ecosystem has asked community members to prepare their wallets for something on the horizon.
Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous leader of the Shiba Inu development team, has dropped a new cryptic message, hinting at something crucial for the SHIB Army. Kusama’s message comes after being in the shadows for the past few weeks.
On Monday, Kusama took the Shibarium Telegram channel, asking community members to ready their hearts and wallets. This message comes amid the anticipation of Valentine’s Day approaching on Wednesday.
“Love is in their air. Prepare your heart (and your wallet)…,” Shytoshi Kusama remarked to the Shibarium Telegram channel. Lucie, Shiba Inu’s content marketing officer, posted a screenshot of Kusama’s statement on social media platform X.

Also, the official Shiba Inu X account posted a similar love-infused message, marking the approaching Valentine’s Day. Essentially, embracing the spirit of the love season, the Shiba Inu team is hinting at the imminent arrival of a significant development that has been in progress.

In particular, they hinted at the Shiboshis, a collection of adorable Shiba Inu NFTs. For instance, Kusama took to X, posting,

Yesterday, the Shiboshis X account revived Kusama’s reference to the imminent arrival of “something lovely,” which alluded to the Shiboshis. At the time, Kusama mentioned that Shiba Inu’s tech partner, Bad Idea AI, discovered a new use case for Shiboshis while noting that the Kanpai agency was working on behalf of the NFTs.
Now, the Shiboshis team issued an update on the NFTs, stating, “She’s on her way. Were you expecting her?”
Besides, Shiba Inu’s ecosystem leader has given a thumbs-up to the update from the Shiboshis team, saying, “There you are.”
In essence, the Shiba Inu team may be unveiling a Shiboshi-based package centered around love in alignment with the approaching Valentine’s Day, which falls tomorrow, February 14.
