Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama reacts as popular Web3 game developer PlayFi Studios announces its upcoming arrival on Shibarium.
In a tweet on Thursday, PlayFi announced it would integrate Shibarium to launch new play-to-earn (P2E) games for Shiba Inu community members. “Get ready for more fun on the Shibarium blockchain!” PlayFi announced.
The upcoming partnership between PlayFi and the Shiba Inu ecosystem team will allow players to enjoy exciting games while earning digital rewards. This initiative further expands the utility of Shibarium, positioning it as a hub for Web3 gaming.

PlayFi’s announcement comes in response to Kusama’s previous inquiry about when the game developer plans to adopt Shibarium. The accompanying image shows a social media post of Kusama asking ‘Wen Shibarium?‘

Interestingly, after PlayFi announced plans to launch on Shibarium, Kusama gave a shout-out to the project, echoing “PlayFi on Shibarium. I see you…”

If finalized, PlayFi will become the latest project the Shiba Inu team will officially partner with, joining others such as Bad Idea AI, Welly Friends, Chainlink, K9 Finance, Imaginary Ones, Unification, and Zama.
Each of these projects offers unique utility to the Shiba Inu ecosystem. For instance, K9 Finance offers liquid staking on Shibarium, allowing Shiba Inu community members to stake their tokens like BONE while retaining its liquidity.
Notably, PlayFi aims to launch new P2E games on Shibarium, exposing players to new and exciting games beyond the existing ecosystem titles, such as Shiba Eternity, Shiboshi Rush, and Agent Shiboshi.
