Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, suggests that revenue, rather than utility, guarantees the success of a crypto project.
Kusama made the assertion in response to a bold claim from market commentator Luis Delgado, popularly known as Del Crxpto within the SHIB community.
In a message Delgado tagged as ‘reality check,’ he asserted that everyone wrongly believed that a crypto project’s success hinges on its utility. However, he dismissed this narrative. He claimed that revenue is all that matters when ascertaining the success of a crypto project, just like every other business.
Kusama Agrees
Kusama affirmed Delgado’s reality check, emphasizing the importance of revenue in guaranteeing success in crypto. He also suggested that the Shiba Inu ecosystem has always been aware of this.
“This is exactly what I’ve been saying and WHY we have been doing what we have been doing,” Kusama remarked.
His commentary suggests that the ecosystem team designed the Shiba Inu project to drive real value and build on-chain revenue streams.
Shiba Inu to Unveil a Strategic Plan
In addition, Kusama hinted at the upcoming release of a strategic plan. This plan might outline how Shiba Inu can generate more revenue and boost its standing in the crypto market.
However, he questioned whether the Shiba Inu community will support the foundation the team has built and the subsequent plan it intends to unveil.

Responding, Delgado affirmed that Shiba Inu community members will educate themselves about the upcoming strategic plan and technology. Afterward, he said SHIB enthusiasts will “run with it,” supporting the initiative to guarantee success.
Shiba Inu Team to Announce New AI-Driven Initiatives in July
Meanwhile, Kusama has been hinting at the release of an AI-focused paper, which will detail the integration of Shiba Inu with artificial intelligence.
While there is no official date for the release of the AI paper, Kusama suggested that the team might unveil its artificial intelligence initiatives this July, which he has rebranded as “JUL-AI.”
He informed the community to brace up for multiple announcements, releases, and discussions this month. According to him, these announcements and discussions will revolve around Shiba Inu’s past developments as well as its future roadmap.
