The popular Layer-2 blockchain has continued to attract the attention of the broader crypto community with its streaks of achievements. Fresh data from Shibariumscan shows that the network has surpassed 600 million transactions and reached a milestone of over 2 million wallets.
The past month has been marked by increased user activity on Shibarium as users flock to the L2 blockchain to interact with different DeFi protocols.
Number of Wallets Cross 2 Million
As a result, the number of wallets that have interacted with the blockchain since its inception surged to 2 million. Shibarium achieved the feat yesterday with official Shiba Inu-related accounts celebrating the milestone on X.

At press time, Shibarium now boasts a total wallet of 2,001,471 (2 million).
Shibarium Surpasses 600 Million Transactions
Furthermore, the total transaction count recently surpassed the 600 million mark, reaching a whopping 617,132,427 (617.13 million) at press time.
It bears mentioning that user activity on Shibarium gained momentum over the past month, specifically on November 5. At the time, the transaction volume stood at 465.2 million.
Interestingly, the number has surged to 617.3 million, representing an increase of 32.69% from the 465.2 million volume registered on November 5. Currently, Shibarium boasts a daily transaction volume of 4.75 million.
Other Incredible Milestones
Furthermore, the L2 network has also recorded other incredible feats over the past week. On December 5, the total value locked (TVL) on Shibarium surged to an all-time high (ATH) of $10.4 million.
Expectedly, K9 Finance DAO led in terms of TVL on Shibarium, with a value of $4.49 million. Other DeFi protocols like ShibaSwap, WoofSwap, and ChewySwap saw TVL of $3.97 million, $1.16 million, and $610,279, respectively.
Meanwhile, the number of user accounts on Shibarium has skyrocketed by 14.52% in one month, soaring from 184,194 to 210,953.
Notably, Shibarium’s network demand, as reflected in total gas usage, also spiked tremendously over the past month, increasing from 13.56 trillion on November 7 to 18.52 trillion today.
These impressive stats demonstrate the massive surge in user activity on the prominent Layer-2 blockchain.
